Greetings fellow Danebodians!
I truly hope that each and everyone of you had a terrific holiday season. With the nearing of summer, I know I’m not alone in thoughts of camp approaching. Blue skies (and warm weather) are calling us all, and we have an especially terrific cause to celebrate this summer as the Danebod Folk School turns 100 years old! In anticipation of this special reflection of a building that holds a place in each of our hearts, a number of activities and projects are being coordinated by a committee lead by Katie Seaburg from June camp. One of these special projects requires a little help from you!
The project is a collection of photos to be printed into a type of book that will be viewable at each camp. To do this, I need help from any and all family campers who hold artistic forms of the folk school. This may include (but is not limited to) poems, crafts, songs, sketches, drawings, photos, sculptures, or paintings. We are hoping that if you hold any of this art, you would simply take a photo of it, write up a brief description (who made it and when), and email both to myself at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you want to contribute but need assistance, please let me know and we can come up with a plan of action.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
